Finding a pair of straight leg denim that was flattering on my petite frame was harder than I anticipated. Most made me look stumpy and required 4 to 5 inches to be cut off leaving me with a strange variation between straight and skinny jeans.
A coworker recommended I try Levi's Wedgie Jeans and at first I was hesitant. My desire to wear something called a 'wedgie' was slim, but I am glad I took her advice. They are the only straight leg jeans that have worked on my 5"3 frame. I did have to cut off 2 inches at the bottom, but thanks to their raw hem this was something I could do myself.
They are a heavy-weight denim which will be nice going into winter. Plus, they come in a variety of washes so you can find one to suit your taste. I pared mine with a pleated top and mule booties for a casual-cool look. At under $100 these jeans are hard to resist. You may want to add multiples to your wardrobe.
