Streets of Barcelona

barcelona spain in august

I do not hide my love for summer. I live for the long, sunny days and an afternoon thunderstorm. So, it saddens me when the days start to get shorter. Today marks the last day of summer, and it feels appropriate to take you down the streets of Barcelona. This was the last stop on our trip, and this city provided both the Spanish charm and Americanized meals that we need to roundup three weeks of travel.
We spent our first day at the beach, but the remainder of the time was used for touring the city. We did a self guided tour of Guadi stopping by the Sagrada Familia one evening. His architecture is something that is best seen in person. The detail in each building was stunning, and I cannot wait to go back and view the Sagrada Familia once it is finished in 2026.

I wore this Apiece Apart Tunic for walking around the city. Linen pieces were my go-to while traveling in Spain, and this tunic offered comfort while making my shorts look more stylish. Any outfit that kept me cool was a deemed a winner. I'll miss wearing this top once fall starts, but I am thankful for an incredible summer full of adventure and travel.
